Description: This course offers a focused examination of the creative processes involved in narrative filmmaking and trains students as producers and directors of visual media. Advanced skills in preproduction planning, budgeting, shooting, directing actors, lighting, and editing are utilized to maximize production value when shooting on location. Emphasis is placed on achieving a unified aesthetic approach to picture and soundtrack that reinforces and enhances the meaning behind the work.
