Description: This course provides foundational knowledge about eligibility assessment for multilingual learners who may have disabilities. The characteristics of informal and formal assessment tools and procedures will be discussed, emphasizing culture, values, and caregivers beliefs related to assessment. A process for distinguishing between second language acquisition and learning disabilities is examined.
