Description: Introduction to Classical Chinese Philosophy, focusing on foundational texts, arguments, and ideas that first emerged in China s Warring States Period, beginning in approximately 475 BCE and ending in 221 BCE. Important thinkers include Kongzi (Confucius), Mengzi (Mencius), Xunzi, Laozi, Zhunagzi, Mozi, and Han Feizi. Formerly PHI 289a39.
