Description: Current methods and materials for the teaching of 3rd 8th grade. This course is designed to provide students with the materials, procedures, methods, techniques, and foundational knowledge needed to successfully teach in the general music setting, 3rd 8th grades. Students will learn to teach through doing. The relationship between musicking, developing musicianship, and content knowledge will be stressed. Clinical experience: 15 hours. Note: Clinical hours are outside of class time and within class assignments.

Prerequisites: MUS 195, TCH 210, and 212. Criminal Background Check required
