Description: Study of advanced chromatic techniques used in music of the late nineteenth century. Study of contemporary analytic techniques used to study contemporary concert music including (but not limited to) modes, set theory, serialism, and rhythmic theory. Formerly TWENTIETH-CENTURY TECHNIQUES.
