Description: Current methods and materials for the teaching general music PK -2nd grade. This course is designed to provide students the materials, procedures, methods, techniques, and foundational knowledge needed to successfully teach in the general music setting, PK-2nd grades. Students will learn to teach through doing. The relationship between musicking, developing musicianship, and content knowledge will be stressed. Clinical experience: 15 credit hours. Note: Clinical hours are outside of class time and within class assignments.

Prerequisites: MUS 195, TCH 210, and 212. Criminal Background Check required
