Description: This course is for music majors with little to no formal jazz improvisation instruction. It is an opportunity for students to gain some basic knowledge, tools and experience improvising jazz in front of others. It will also provide a basic pedagogical model for music education students who may be lacking in their jazz background. Multiple enrollments allowed; maximum of 4 credit hours.
