MUS 126 - Group Instruction In Voice

Description: Practical instruction in singing in English and Italian. Successful completion of MUS 126 or audition before members of voice faculty is prerequisite for admission to MUS 137. Multiple enrollments are allowed.

New Description: This course is an exploration of the voice as a musical instrument. Students will engage in stretching, breathing, and the practice of producing healthy vocal sounds while developing performance skills within a collaborative environment. Repertoire studied will cover a variety of musical time periods including songs in world languages. Multiple enrollments are allowed; maximum of 4 credit hours.
