Description: Introduction to successful sport business and marketing; use of industry research and examples to cover topics including sport markets, fan development, brand management, media audiences, media rights and revenue, live sporting events, sponsorship, merchandise and retail; and introduce students to career paths in the sport industry, as well as tracking events in the industry.

Prerequisites: MKT 233 or MKT 234, concurrent is acceptable
