Description: Application of statics and dynamics to the study of mechanism kinematics including cams, linkages, and gear trains through theory, laboratory work and a project. Interfacing electrical prime movers, sensors and mechanical systems, with an emphasis on robotic systems. Analysis and design of mechanical energy transfer systems using mathematical models implemented in MATLAB and Python.
