Description: Analysis of deformable bodies subjected to loading including strength and deformation analyses. Topics include axial deformation (tension and compression), Hooke s Law, torsion, bending, shear, combined loading, stress and strain transformations, and the design of shaft, beams, columns, and pressure vessels.
