New Description: Coverage of computer-aided design concepts and an introduction to design, fabrication, and testing of operating mechanical systems. Familiarity and shop-based exposure to additive and reductive fabrication and prototyping processes. Topics include sketching, solid modeling, assembly, simulation, creation of engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, realization and demonstration of an original prototype mechanical device.
