Description: IDS 398 provides an educationally directed external internship placement for supervised work that integrates the core skills and concepts learned throughout the data science program. The experiential learning provides an opportunity for data science majors to work on applied projects in industry or the non-profit field with directed work by professionals in the field. Students learn integral skills that prepare them for long-term professional success.
