Description: This writing intensive course on Germany's Weimar Republic focuses on humanities texts (broadly defined) chosen from literature, philosophy, history and the fine arts and examines them in an interdisciplinary fashion in order to stimulate student thinking, discussion, and writing. Exploration of how a given text has a significant relationship to a specific society and milieu and how it in turn shapes and is shaped by the society and culture.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisites: COM 110 and ENG 101 or concurrent registration
