Description: Examines our roles as digital information consumers and creators through an analysis of the information ecosystem including social media, the open web, and scholarly publications surrounding current issues and events. Explores topics including authority, bias, information privilege, and misinformation.

Prerequisites: COM 110 or ENG 101 or concurrent enrollment
