Description: An in-depth overview of the Emergency Management discipline. History of the discipline will be explored, with a a focus on contemporary emergency management. Students will learn how the nation, states, local jurisdictions, businesses, non-governmental organizations and others prevent, mitigate, prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies and disasters.
