Description: Electronic Music Composition explores advanced techniques for creating immersive soundscapes, utilizing synthesis and sampling methods. In this course, each student will complete three different genre compositions during the semester. This class will be in a seminar format, and students will do research and present on the history and stylistic qualities of specific genres, compositional forms, and production or musical techniques. Prior experience with DAW-base composition is recommended.
