Course Description: Supervised work experience in local, state, national, and international businesses, agencies, institutions, and organizations. The experience is planned, administered, and supervised at the departmental level and coordinated through Professional Practice. If the site is in an educational agency or institution, the placement must be approved by the Office of Clinical Experiences and Certification Processes. Written objectives and modes of evaluation shall be approved by the faculty supervisor and department chairperson/school director prior to the beginning of the semester. A maximum of 9 hours total credits from the course group 393/397/400/493/498 may count toward the master's degree. Within that 9 hours, 498 is further limited to 20% of the total hours required for the degree. Multiple enrollments allowed; maximum of 16 credit hours.
