Class Notes: The special topic will be Violence in America.
Class Notes: : In this course we will grapple with “American exceptionalism” in violent crime. We will examine data and make comparisons to other countries. We will cover special topics such as guns, popular culture, domestic violence, drugs, hate crime, movies and video games, and evaluate policies used to prevent violence.
