Description: This course provides hands-on instruction on the manipulation and utilization of natural and artificial light for fine art photographs. Students will learn basic studio lighting and large format 4x5 view cameras. Multiple enrollments to a maximum of 6 hours. Students who have earned credit in ART 333 should consult with their advisor before enrolling in this course; there are limitations on number of total credits a student can earn in both ART 333 and 419.

Class Notes: This Special Topics course will explore advanced techniques in Black and White photography. Students will work with medium and large format film cameras, various film and photo papers, and darkroom experimentations. Prerequisite - Art 235 Black and White Photography or consent of instructor.
