Class Notes: The objective of this course is to give students a deeper understanding of topics related to animal physiology. This semester, the course will focus on the physiology of the nervous and endocrine systems in animals. After completing this course, you will be able to: • Describe the physiology of the nervous system senses, and mechanism of neural signaling • Explain the different sensory receptors involved in differing types of sensations • Explain the physiology of neural reflexes • Describe the mechanism of hormone receptors and cellular communication
