Description: This course will focus on diversity in modern US history, particularly the influence of power among various social groups in the US and how markers of difference--class, ability, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, language and sexual orientation--interact in the formation, experiences, and transformations of individual actors and complex groups.
Credit Hours: 3
Graduation Requirement: IDEAS - Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access in U.S. Society. This graduation requirement is for all students, starting with students following the 2023-2024 catalog.
